Y’all, there’s just somethin’ magical about fall, ain’t there? The air gets crisp, the leaves turn all sorts of beautiful colors, and the smell of pumpkin spice is everywhere! For us country women, fall is more than just a season – it’s a time for family, gathering, and makin’ our homes feel warm and inviting. So, grab your favorite flannel, put on some boots, and let’s get crafty! Today, we’re diving into some easy DIY projects to bring that cozy fall feeling right into your home.
Project 1: Pumpkin Spice Scented Candles – Cozy Glow in a Jar
Nothin’ says fall like the warm glow and spicy aroma of pumpkin spice. And guess what? Makin’ your own candles is easier than you think!
You’ll Need:
Soy wax flakes (or beeswax, if you prefer!)
Pumpkin spice fragrance oil
Wicks with tabs (size appropriate for your jars)
Small jars (mason jars, or repurposed jars work great!)
Double boiler (or a heat-safe bowl and a pot)
Pencil or chopstick
How-To:
Melt the wax in your double boiler, following package instructions.
Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the pumpkin spice fragrance oil. Start with a few drops and add more to your liking (about 1oz per pound of wax).
Attach a wick to the center of each jar using the wick tab.
Pour the scented wax into your jars, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
Use a pencil or chopstick to center the wick.
Let the candles cool completely, usually a few hours. Trim the wicks to about ¼ inch before burning.
PinkCamo Touch: Tie a small pink camo ribbon around the top of your mason jar for an extra dose of PinkCamo charm!

Project 2: Rustic Pallet Sign – Welcoming Fall
Pallet signs are all the rage, and for good reason! They’re easy to make, affordable, and add that perfect touch of rustic charm to any space.
You’ll Need:
A wooden pallet (or reclaimed wood) – You can often find these for free! Just be sure to clean and sand it well.
Sandpaper
Acrylic paint in your desired colors
Stencils or a steady hand for painting letters
Paintbrushes
Wood sealant (optional)
Hanging hardware (optional)
How-To:
Clean and sand your pallet, removing any splinters.
Paint the base color (or let the natural wood show through for a more rustic look). Let it dry completely.
Using stencils or freehand painting, add your fall quote. Here are a few ideas:
“Gather”
“Bless This Mess”
“Autumn Blessings”
“Welcome to Our Patch”
(Optional) Once the paint is dry, seal your sign with wood sealant for added protection.
Add hanging hardware to the back, if desired.
PinkCamo Touch: Incorporate a touch of pink camo into your sign! You could use a pink camo stencil for a letter, paint a small pink camo border, or even add a small, pink camo-printed fabric flower.

Project 3: Easy Mason Jar Centerpiece – Simply Stunning
This is probably the easiest project of all, and it makes a big statement!
You’ll Need:
3-5 Mason Jars (various sizes)
Wood tray or a piece of reclaimed wood
Fall foliage (faux or foraged leaves, branches, berries)
Tea Light Candles (pillar tea light candles, battery-operated tea light candles, or battery-operated LED string lights)
How-To:
Arrange your mason jars on the wood tray.
Fill the jars with fall foliage, arranging them to create visual interest.
Place tea light candles inside (or on top of) the mason jars. Battery-operated tea lights are a safe and easy option.
Arrange the centerpiece on your dining table, coffee table, or anywhere that needs a touch of fall magic!
PinkCamo Touch: Add a small pink camo ribbon around one of the mason jars or place a few small pink camo-printed leaves within the arrangement.
